honestly, i've been feeling pretty sad lately. today was the last day of school and i can't help but feel like my friends don't like me. i know it's probably just paranoia, but it's been taking a toll on me mentally. i haven't had the energy to do much other than doomscroll or watch youtube. i'm too tired to actually do anything but i'm also not tired enough to actually sleep. i have a feeling that's what most of my summer is going to look like, since my most of my friends are going to be away all summer and i don't have many activities to keep me busy other than AP summer work. honestly, i'm not sure how i'm going to keep myself sane for the next 3 months but we shall see i guess.

i turned 16 a little over a week ago, and i'm not quite sure how to feel about it. this entry may be on the shorter side since i really can't get my brain to focus on anything important right about now...who knows, maybe i'll get myself to write some poetry or pick up a book.

thinking about my AP work gives me a headache. do they seriously think i have the time to read 3 entire books, write a paper on each, and complete two 30-page math packets? (i do actually have the time but......ehhh....) it also doesn't help that i did terribly on a few of my finals, so my parents will definitely be bugging me about that once they find out. the next few days are gonna be pretty dreadful, i think. maybe i'll find something to keep me occupied.
